Hello aspirant,
I hope that you are doing absolutely great.
With reference to your above mentioned query, I would like to tell you that since you have passed out from your class 12th in 2020 and have attempted your JEE mains and advance in 2020 but did not qualify the JEE advance paper in 2020.
Also you have not attempted JEE mains and JEE advance in 2021 due to the COVID pandemic, so I would like to tell you that this year, in 2022, is the last attempt for you to give JEE mains but not JEE advance as there are only 2 attempts any candidate can give JEE advance paper and that you have given - 2020 and in 2021 . So you have only the last attempt to give JEE mains paper and that is in 2022 only after that you cannot give JEE mains and JEE advance since the eligibility criteria for JEE mains and advance says that candidates can only appear thrice in JEE mains and twice in JEE advance. So, the only option available for you to give JEE paper is only in 2022.
Further, below is the eligibility criteria for JEE mains ;
Qualifying exam -
-
Students should have passed the 12th class or qualifying the exam in 2020 or 2021.
-
Candidates appearing in 12th class or equivalent qualifying exams in 2022 can also apply.

Total number of attempts -

I hope that this will help.
Hello Aspirant,
See if you had not appeared for any of the attempt of JEE-Main 2021 and also if appeared but not qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 then you are not eligible to sit for JEE-Advance 2022 under any circumstances. But if you had qualified for JEE-Advance 2021 and did not appear for it due to COVID-19 then you can get some provision as like last year but till now there is no any official notification regarding this. So you have to wait for any official notification. But you are eligible for JEE-Main 2022 and this would be last session for which you can appear for JEE-Main because you had passed your class 12th in 2020.
Apart from above, there are some criterion which you need to satisfy in order to appear for JEE-Main so let us discuss them.
1--- Age criteria :- There is no age limit to appear in JEE-Main but note that there might be the age limit in any particular institution taking admission through JEE-Main score, so you should keep this thing in mind.
2--- Qualifying Examination :- To be eligible for JEE-Main one should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Mathematics as mandatory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject from any of the recognized central or state board.
3--- Year of qualification :- For JEE-Main 2022 only those candidates who have passed Class 12 / equivalent examination in 2020, 2021 or 2022; or those who will be appearing in Class 12th / equivalent examination in 2022, would be eligible to appear.
So if you follow all above criterion then you are definitely eligible for JEE-Main.
