Although you haven't mentioned or tagged specifically the name of the exam you are talking about, but recently, exams such as OPENMAT, B.ED etc., are in talk. So, the exam, as per current information, is scheduled to be conducted on 11 April, 2021. For which the January session forms are being filled. It depends on the course in which you've enrolled in IGNOU, if it's semester based then exams will take place twice a year, so in that regard if the usual schedule is followed exams should take place by June, but it's something that cannot be said with certainty because due to covid pandemic things might change, in case your course isn't semester wise, then you should be appearing for December Term End Exam of this year, these are the usual schedule followed by IGNOU in terms of June and December Term End Exam, but as I said due to pandemic things may or may not change, stay updated at the official website at ignou.ac.in for more details regarding this. Also you have to submit your assignments prior to appearing for the exam.
