Upto now , there is no special reservation for visuaally impaired or blind or deaf people in NEET entrance exam . There is either reservation for caste categories like SC/ST/OBCNCL or for physically handicapped people. Also, the physically handicapped people are only eligible for this quota if and only if they have a disability certificate.ersons with visual disability of less than 40% are eligible to pursue GME, but do not qualifi for reservation as the extent of visual impairment is less than the benchmark definition of Low Vision.
According to the guidelines, low vision refers to a condition in which an person has any of the following conditions -
A. Visually acuity not exceeding 6/18 or 20/60 and less than 6/60 or 20/200 (Snellen) in the better eye with correcting lens; or
B. Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of more than 20 degrees upto 40 degree.
