It doesn't matter even if you repeat your class 11th and will be appearing for your 12th board examination in 2022 and you have passed your 10th in 2019 , what matters is the year in which you will be appearing for 12th board examination.
Now,
One can give JEE Mains entrance examination for a maximum of 3 consecutive years starting from the year of passing 12th board examination.
JEE Main entrance examination is conducted twice a year i.e January and April session.
So, the maximum number of attempts for jee mains entrance examination
= 2 times *3 years
= 6 attempts in total
So , if you appear for 12th board examination in 2020 you will have a total of six attempts i.e you will be eligible for both the sessions of JEE mains for the year 2022, 2023 and 2024. So , just to answer your question you can appear in JEE mains 2022.
Coming to jee advanced , One can give or attempt JEE Advanced for the maximum of two times and that too in consecutive years.
Thankyou
Hey,
If you repeat your class 11th then it won't make any changes in your jee mains attempt. That means, the year you'll pass your class 12th boards in that year itself you'll be eligible to attempt jee mains twice i.e, January 2022 and April 2022.
Hope it helps.
Good luck.
