Yes, biology students (PCB) can appear for JEE Main, but there are limitations. Mathematics is a mandatory subject for most engineering courses, so if you haven’t studied math in 12th, getting admission into an engineering program may be difficult.
However, if you are determined to pursue engineering, you can study mathematics separately through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) or any equivalent board and then become eligible for JEE Main.
While JEE Main does allow some exceptions, most engineering colleges require math as a subject in 12th for admission. If your goal is a field like biotechnology or biomedical engineering, some universities may accept PCB students, but options will be limited.
