First up, you give your IIT exam (JEE Mains and JEE Advanced) after you finish your class 12. Also note that, you can wish to drop a year if:
- your preparation is not enough; or
- your performance was not good
and then write JEE again.
Hence, JEE allows only a maximum of two attempts.
As a result, because you have just entered 12th standard, there is no need to feel the IIT form. Nevertheless, the time for filling the JEE forms have already been closed.
