Taking admission into B.P.Ed. is not a rigorous task. You may need to be an athlete or of sports background to enter into the course but that is not a very strict criterion in many colleges though some do adhere to this. There is a physical efficiency test, a written test and a personal interview on the basis of which the person is selected. This pattern might differ for different colleges but the general pattern is as below.
· Written Test
· Physical Efficiency Test
· Personal Interview
The syllabus for the written test is mainly from topics studied in 10+2 covering the general studies and aptitude. The questions are mainly asked from the following topics:
· General Aptitude
· General Knowledge
· Science
· Social Science
· English Language
The physical efficiency test is based on testing the physical fitness and capabilities of the person.
Thus it is okay if you have not taken a physical subject beforehand. Many colleges have their own entrance test and admission procedure and your capabilities and skills are tested there.
I hope that my answer was helpful to you.
