Hey there

It's true that your 10th and 12th marks matters when you go for interviews of colleges but for appearing in cat 50% is what needed and so do not worry you have got marks and do prepare hard for the exam.

Check about cat

Hello,

Eligblty for XAT :

Completed Minimum 3 Years Bachelors Degree or in the Final Year of Bachelors Degree

Eligibility for CAT:

A candidate is eligible to appear in CAT 2019 if he/she holds a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories, need at least 45% marks.

Once of crack XAT or CAT you  eligible for admission but you marks which are below average will make it difficult for you to get into top B schools.

I hope this helps.

Yes dear, you are eligible for both XAT and CAT exams. I'll like to tell you that the basic eligibility criteria for both the exams is a bachelor's degree in ant field. There is no minimum percentage required for appearing in the exams. Although your 10th and 12th percentage are given weightage in selection process. Following eligibility points must be noted by a student appearing for XAT or CAT exams:-.

  • Candidate applying for CAT/ XAT 2020 must have a graduation degree from any stream from a recognized institute or university.
  • The graduation degree should be of a minimum of three years.
  • There is no specific cut off percentage or CGPA to be obtained during graduation.

    • Hope this helps.. All the best

Those candidate have completed graduation with above 50% marks from recognized university are applicable for CAT exam.Marks relaxation is provide for SC/ST candidate. There is no age criteria.

They are not require 10th and 12th marks for CAT exam , They want only graduation marks.

10th, 12th marks are necessary for getting shortlisted in IIMs. Atleast 80% marks for science stream, 77% marks for commerce stream, 75% marks for arts stream is needed.
