No.. you're not eligible

As per the eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL , the age limit will be between 18-27 years as on 1st Jan, of that specific year (like for this case, 1st jan, 2023).

And based on that rule, your age on that basis will be 17 years 10 months .You need to be min 18 years of age as mentioned above .

Well, the upper age limit is different for several caste categories.For gen , it is 27.

Eligibility criteria for SSC CHSL 2023:

Age limit: 18 to 27 years as on 1st January  2023. Relaxation is given on upper age limit for reservation category candidates as per guidelines.

Nationality: Indian Nationality

Education Qualification: 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognised Board.

As per the age criteria for SSC CHSL 2023 exam you are not eligible for SSC CHSL exam in 2023 because you'll be around 17 years 10 month + as on 1st of January, 2023. Minimum age limit is 18 years. So you'll be eligible for SSC CHSL exam in 2024.
