Hi Sneha if you have seen this P-SC/ST in the application for jawarharlal nehru institute of postgraduate medical education and research (JIPMER ) entrance exam, it simply refers to pondicherry SC/ST , that is the candidates from pondicherry and belonging to SC/ST come under that category
