The eligibility criteria for the Army wing of NDA is : The candidate must have passed class 12th of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
For the Naval wings and Air Force & 12+2 cadet entry scheme at Indian Naval Academy the criteria is : The candidate must have he candidate must have passed class 12th of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Maths conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

No, for Commerce students to be eligible for NDA examination it is not mandatory to have maths.
This is because,
NDA eligibility criteria says that:-
As per the eligibility criteria of NDA ,to be eligible for NDA examination
* For army , candidates with educational qualification of 10 + 2 in any stream are eligible. For Navy and Air force, only candidates having educational qualification of 10 + 2 with Physics and Maths are eligible.
So, being a commerce student you are eligible for only army and not for navy and Airforce and don't worry to be eligible for army you don't need to have maths in 10+2 as student with 10 + 2 from any stream is eligible for NDA for army
*you must be in the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years old.
* you must be Indian
* you must be unmarried
