Hi,
Yes, there are universities that are taking up admissions of students just based on their 12th Class percentage.
Few private universities which usually have their own Entrance Examinations have now been cancelled due to the COVID'19 situation. They have decided to take up admission based on your 12th Class percentage itself.
SRM Institute of Science and Technology and Vellore Institute of Science and Technology are a few of them.
