Sorry to ask this question, but i am tensed after reading certain strange and non believing thing about iims.

Dear Aditya,
There are people who try to prove themselves right by spreading rumors, ignore them at all costs. IIM's have a very professional culture, people will offer you drinks but will never judge you on the basis of that. Also, being an introvert doesn't really hamper as far as there is any problem with your attitude.
So my simple suggestion to you is, Ignore such people and news. If you have the passion to be a Management student, IIM's and other equivalent B-schools are the places to be.
Study hard & be a part of this great legacy!

Also, your undergrad college and course doesn't matter in the placements. What you do during those 2 years of MBA does!

Yes obviously, no one will cause you any trouble. But, you also should be careful not to judge others on their habits be it drinking or smoking or anything else
Sir, sorry to ask you again.At this stage where i want to move towards my success these questions are very important for me.In the past, it happens.So i want to ask that sir there is no ragging na in iims.Also does some socially valuable persons also comes there.

All three are myths.
Students are not alcoholic and such official report of any misconduct isnot reported till date.
Secondly stidents from ordinary college hav eno correlation with placements, its all boht function domain knowledge and your performance in interview which will decide your fate.
Thirdly even introvert can survive easily just you nees to be good in communicating with all because there will be lot of presentations which will require team work. Hnece being cordial and involving in teams is must.
