Solution : Number of students in school B = Boys + Girls = 2600 ---(1) Difference between Boys and Girls in school B = Boys – Girls = 520 ---(2) Add equation (1) and (2) 2Boys = 2600 + 520 = 3120 ⇒ Boys = $\frac{3120}{2}$ = 1560 Percentage of Boys = $\frac{1560}{2600}\times 100$ = 60%. Hence the correct answer is 60%.
