Correct Answer: 25
Solution :
For School A
Number of Boys + Number of Girls = 1800
and, Number of Boys – Number of Girls = 350
⇒ 2 (Number of girls in school A) = 1450
⇒ Number of girls in school A = $\frac{1450}{2}$ = 725
For School C
Number of Boys + Number of Girls = 2000
and, Number of Boys – Number of Girls = 500
⇒ 2 (Number of girls in school C) = 1500
⇒ Number of girls in school C = $\frac{1500}{2}$ = 750
Difference between girls in school A and school C = 750 – 725 = 25
Hence, the correct answer is 25.
