Suppose I am from Metallurgy Branch and i appear for gate from cse stream. Now PSU's select me based on my gate stream or my B.tech Stream.

First they will consider your gate stream branch and you will be interviewed in the gate stream and as you will be not able to answer the questions as your BTech is not that stream so you will be not selecting

Well what if i answered there questions properly and correctly.you supposed i wont be able to answer what if i am well prepared and anwer correctly.
