Firstly NIT Surathkal is a brilliant opportunity to pursue your higher studies. Now if you think of both the streams now-a-days Information Technology is a very good branch and you can receive nice placements as well. But when it comes to Computer Science, if you really have keen interest in computer and can work hard then CSE is the best choice. Placements start for both the branches with salary packages 7-8 LPA.
