Syllabus and subject for bank exam
Bank exam syllabus : Generally in written test they ask questions to test the general aptitude of candidates. In prelims 100 marks questions are asked from 3 sections quantitative aptitute for 35 questions, reasoning skill 35 questions and english language 30questions. In mains exam 200 marks questions are asked which is quantitative aptitude,reasoning skills,english language, general awareness and basic computer knowledge.
syllabus for quantitative apptitude:ratio &proportion, number system, profit and loss , percentages and averages,simple interest, compound interest ,surds,indices,time and distance, mensuration, permutation and combination,quadratic equation.
english language: reading comprehension,error spotting ,cloze test, sentence correction, vocabulary, para jumbles, paragraph completion, multiple meaning words.
reasoning ability:Tabulation, logical reasoning syllogism,sitting arrangement, coding decoding, data sufficiency, non verbal reasoning, coded inequalities.
computer:history of computer , hardware , software, database, communication, networking(lan wan),virus hacker,internet ms windows and ms office.
You should also know about current affairs and functions of rbi, types of accounts, negotiable instruments act 1881, capital and money mrket.
