You can try in private institutes because Govt institutes like NITs,IITs consider Gate and in ISM admissions are open to candidates through two channels - on the basis of the GATE exam for those who have qualified the same with a valid score and Non-GATE students on the basis of the ISM EE 2017 exam conducted by ISM Dhanbad.
