Solution : Given: The height of a cylinder is 45 cm.
The circumference of the base of the cylinder = $2\pi r$
The curved surface of the cylinder = $2\pi rh$
Where $r$ and $h$ are the radius and height.
The circumference of its base is 132 cm.
⇒ $2\times \frac{22}{7}\times r=132$
⇒ $r=21$ cm
The curved surface of the cylinder = $2\times \frac{22}{7} \times 21\times 45=44 \times 135=5940$ cm 2
Hence, the correct answer is 5940 cm 2 ​​​​​​.
