The resultant component of any two forces acting at any direction is given as the sum of the individual forces taking the cos component of the angle between them.
So, F= √(F1^2 + F2^2+ 2F1*F2* cos theta), in the given question is mention that the square of two individual vectors is equal to 100, and the other component of 60 degree gives the resultant.
Hence, the individual forces are of 8N and 6N respectively.
