Correct Answer: 20 kg
Solution : Given: The sum of weights of A and B is 80 kg. 50% of A's weight is $\frac{5}{6}$ times the weight of B. According to the question, A + B = 80 $A \times \frac{1}{2}=B \times \frac{5}{6}$ ⇒ $\frac{A}{B}=\frac{5}{3}$ The weight of 8 units = 80 kg. The weight of 1 unit = $\frac{80}{8}$ = 10 kg. The difference between their weights = 5 units – 3 units = 2 units = 20 kg. Hence, the correct answer is 20 kg.
