Solution : 8 + [{12 – (8 ÷ 2)} × ($\frac{1}{4}$)]
= 8 + [{12 – 4} × ($\frac{1}{4}$)]
= 8 + [8 × ($\frac{1}{4}$)]
= 8 + 2
