Though the cutoff for iim-c is below 90 percentile, what is the actually required percentile to achieve iim-c if one is from ews category.
Hello !
Yes , cut -off of IIM C is below 90 percentile ,but it is only for the initial screening , you will get a call or not depends on many factors like your academic profile , work experience , diversity area .
If you want to know detail split up of these criteria please visit their official site :
https://www.iimcal.ac.in/programs/pgp/admission/admission-policy/admission-procedure-for-domestic-candidates
Also , required percentile will varies as per your profile , for example if you have low academic score then you need to get a very high CAT score for getting admission , I will advise you to check the detailed eligibility on the site , it will help you.
Hope it helps !
i have scored 88% and 87% in x and xii. i also have a aggregate score of 75.22% in my b.tech education. Currently i am in 4th month of my job. What should be my score(not percentile) to sit for iim-c interview. I am a EWS category student.
Dear Aspirant,
To get a call from the IIMs, your past academic records, your graduation stream, your gender, your work experience, all are considered. IIM Calcutta shortlists around 2000 candidates for the final selection round. The shortlisting criteria of IIM Calcutta are so designed that more than 40% female candidates are shortlisted by IIMC for PI-WAT.
In an average profile, you can expect a call from IIM-C at anything above 99 percentile, but for an engineer, male candidate with average acads, it is unlikely that a call will be made, however, call can be expected at 99.5+.
Hope this helps. Thank you.
What should be the score in CAT to reach a 99.5+ ?
