Hello,

As per the eligibility criteria laid out by UPSC, candidates need to attain 21 years age and pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, those even in the final year are eligible to apply, there is no such thing as best course, what matters is if you're wholly and solely focused on cracking UPSC, then you can go for graduation in subjects like political science, economics, geography, public administration, law to name a few as UPSC tends to be more humanities oriented, but there are also graduates from engineering, medicine, commerce background who have qualified this exam, so at this time if you're unsure and have inclinations for aforementioned courses, you can still appear for upsc with graduation in those subjects, many candidates after completion of graduation gain relative work experiences, and explore the domain and after that apply, this preference varies among candidates, but remember that no matter in which stream of graduation you pass, you are eligible to appear for UPSC. and when it comes to qualifying this exam for each aspirant the perseverance, single-minded focus, dedication remains the same.
