To crack UPSC is my prime intention and goal. Is that fine to go with a BA degree or a premier degree required?

Hello,

No, BA degree will do the work. As you will be required to practice a lot for the UPSC exams so I would suggest you to go for a degree which will allow you to focus on your main goal rather than distracting you from it. UPSC requires a lot of dedication and time to clear the exams. So, do not look for a higher degree or college which have many restrictions. Rather, focus on something which will require only 20% of your time.
