Students categorise them as their a) Dream jobs and b) employment requirement jobs. Mostly these dream jobs come from MNCs or large organisations offering Rs. 4 lakhs plus per annum (10–14 lakhs pa from say Google, Microsoft and/or new startups). Most of the other companies such as ITES (TCS, Wipro, Accenture etc) offer around 3–3.2 lakhs p.a. BPO jobs and shop floor based jobs tend to offer around Rs. 2 to 2.5 lakhs p.a.
