what are the compulsory subjects in UPSC. for history which books I must follow and my main subject will be e maths so what is is the syllabus of math

I think you are asking about Civil Services examination. There is nothing like compulsory but you will have to read all subjects. Viz history, geography, Economics, science, polity, environment Science, ethics, international affairs, reasoning, quants etc etc. For history follow NCERT 6-12th and later go with bipin chandra.
