Oscillations, Waves and Optics



Electricity and Magnetism



Kinetic theory, Thermodynamics

Solid State Physics, Devices and Electronics..

Since these days, the pattern is changed somewhat. You get only objective type question. You can expect them to cover all the topics. And looks like you have 3 months to prepare.

You can start from toughest to grasp for IIT JAM Preparation . And you should try to finish at least 60 % of the syllabus properly. Focus on problems. Do as many quality questions as possible.


1.  Quantum Mechanics
2. Mathematical Physics
3. Classical Mechanics (Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formalism)
4. Nuclear Physics
5. Thermodynamics
6. Optics
7. Electrodynamics

If time permits, you can look up for Statistical Physics, Solid State Physics and Electronics.
