The scholarships are awarded to students who are going through financial hardships. The scholarships are meant to help pay for college and/ or hostel fees. They are being funded by a group of UCE/ VSSUT alumni called Friends of VSSUT . Scholarship 1 is Disabled Scholarship awarded by District Welfare Officer, Sambalpur in which the amount is Rs. 1,900/- per annum. The VSSUT Scholarship 2 is Nehru Memorial Scholarship in which the amount given is Rs. 6,000 per annum.
