In most cases , just with a bachelor's degree, one cannot expect a good salary package. So, it would always be better to go for the Master's degree. There are various exams for it. If you are desperate in joining a particular college, then see if it has any entrance exams or interview. There is an exam called IIT JAM which, if you clear, would procure you a seat in IIT's. JAM is joint admission test for m.sc . You can also appear for gate exam, but the only thing is that to be eligible for Gate exam, one should have a masters degree in science. For jam , a bachelor's degree would do.
