Hello,

To appear for UPSC civil service, you just need to have a graduation degree. There is no as such prescribed minimum percentage by the exam conducting authority.

In order to become IAS you need to appear UPSC Entrance Exam. There is no any restriction of minimum percentage, Only you should be Graduate in any of the field.

IAS exam it was conducted by upsc( Union public service commission).

The person should have the graduation certificate of officially 33% from any recognised university.



However try to make it 60% and above if possible that will heps you in many ways.



for your own purpose physiological well being.secondly,

At the interview stage there will be bad impression by seeing a figure of 35% and 45%.



In case if you are planning for other competitive exams 55% in some competitive exams .it should 60% and above (mandatory).
