Yes, it will affect to some extent. Therefore, it will be good for you if you cleared your backlogs as soon as possible or you can say in just second attempt. During the time of placement, sometimes backlogs become barrier. However,, if you cleared your back papers with good CGPA, then surely you will get a good job because at last the main thing that is seen during placement is your skills only.
