What you choose after passing your 10th boards is completely dependent on your aptitude

If you are a lover of literature and you have got good communication skills then you can definitely off for a subject like political science, history and literature, be it in the form of Hindi, Sanskrit or English. In that case the choice of Humanities stream and for the bachelor, master degrees and even doctorate degrees which will help you to either research on the subject or become a professor in that subjects might be of use to you in future

If you are more of a person who has good vocal and marketing skills doing a bachelor degree in commerce and taking of Commerce at the 11th and 12th level and then pursuing and MBA degree can help you secure a bright future with the decent social status

If you are a lover of real science is like mathematics of Physics you can just take up the science stream in class 11 and 12 and then pursue the bachelor and master degrees in them and go in either for research or teaching or professorship as it suits you

If you are a lover of Technical lines like Engineering or medical, then you need to prepare yourself for entrance examinations more importantly you need to practice MCQs and also develop statesmanship when you can handle clients are patience as a scenario would emerge

It depends on where your genuine interest lies. Every profession has its own importance in our society and no 2 professions can be compared as every stream comes with its own perks and has a darker side.

However, if you happen to choose medicine as your career, you need to opt for science stream in your class 11 & 12 for the same, with a combination of physics, Chemistry and Biology along with English.

That's not all, you need to appear for an entrance examination, for which there are certain eligibility criteria that you must satisfy.

It is only then will you be able to pursue the path of medicine.

1. Science:

This is the most chosen stream for 10+2 education and offers many lucrative career options including medicine and engineering. It is also popular for the fact that it keeps you options open, i.e. a student is allowed to select commerce or arts after pursuing science in 10+2, while commerce and arts students cannot pursue science.

In science stream, you have to take at least five subjects including one compulsory language. There are many options for subjects like mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry, computer science, IT, electronics etc. The student should select the subjects that can lead them towards their prospective career.

2. Arts:

Although, this stream is not so common among students, it holds many exciting career opportunities like journalism, literature, social works, teaching, etc.

In arts stream, you have to select six subjects including one compulsory language and one optional language. Arts offers you a huge list of options to select the remaining four subjects which include, sociology, history, literature, psychology, political science, philosophy, economics etc.

3. Commerce:

This is the second most popular choice among students in India. Commerce stream leads towards some of the highest paying and respected jobs like investment banking, chartered accountant, company secretaries, accounts and financial advisor etc.

The three major subjects taught in commerce stream are economics, accountancy and business law or business study. The subjects offered by most commerce colleges include business economics, business law, accountancy, auditing, income tax, marketing, etc. Just like the above two streams, even in the commerce stream the student has to select five subjects including one compulsory language.

Which stream you should go for totally depends on your interest,potential and what you exactly want to be in future. Like if you are interested to be a doctor then you should go for Medical (PCB) and for that you will have to crack medical entrances like NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER. In case, you want to be an Engineer then PCM subjects should be there in your 11th-12th so that you can apply for IIT-Jee and other entrances or if you are interested in humanities courses like B.A, B.A (H) in Hindi, English, foreign languages etc depending upon your interest then you can go for arts stream.

So basically it all depends on you and all courses/programs have their own eligibility so decide well and let me know if there is any confusion.

It depends on your ability. So first step you should analyse yourself before choosing your stream between Arts and Science. It’s completely up to you. Science has two segments Biology and Mathematics.  If you think that you are good in Biology then you should opt for PCB (medical) whereas if you think you are good in Mathematics, then you should opt for PCM (Engineering) or you think that you want to do something else in your career or if you are passionate about something, apart from Engineering and Medical then you should go for Arts stream.

Totally depends upon your interest....





But you are asking about arts, science and medical....

You can choose medical only when you have taken science....



So don't be confused , first observe in which subject you have great interest...

Then choose wisely...
