AIEEE was a kind of entrance exam conducted for admission in Engineering courses and its near replacement exam is JEE.



Similarly, AIEEE was an entrance exam conducted for admission in medical courses and now it has been replaced by NEET.

The All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE), was an examination organized by the (CBSE). Introduced in the year 2002, this national level competitive test is for admission to various under-graduate engineering and architecture courses in institutes accepting the AIEEE score, mainly 30 (NITs) and 5 (IIITs).

The All India Pre-Medical test/ Pre-Dental Entrance Test (AIPMT now replaced by NEET UG was an annual medical entrance examination in India. The exam was conducted by the (CBSE),Delhi for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in several medical colleges across the country. 15% of the total seats in all medical and dental colleges run by the UNION OF INDIA , state governments, municipal or other local authorities in India, except in the states of AP , TELANGANA and Jammu and Kashmir , were reserved for candidates who qualified this examination.
