It stands for All India Engineering entrance examination and earlier on clearing AIEEE, candidates would be allowed to be eligible for IIT-JEE as well as for taking admissions in NITs. You have to pass 10+2 level from a recognised university to be eligible. Students appearing in 10+2 level are also allowed.
