WHAT IS CSIR EXAM PATTERN , SUBJESTS?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) provides the CSIR NET exam pattern in the official notification of the CSIR NET. According the CSIR NET exam pattern, the exam is conducted for the students from science stream.

• Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences

The exam is Online and Computer Based test and is to be completed within 3 hours.

The subjects for CSIR NET exam are:

The exam is conducted by National Testing Agency NTA, and the duration of the exam is of three hours, there multiple choice questions in the exam and the total marks are 200, the mode of the exam is online ie. Computer based, and there will be negative marking in the exam for wrong answers.
The exam is divided into three parts:
Part A, Part B and Part C.
The total number of questions in part A are 20 questions, in part B are 40 questions and in parts B 60 questions, a total of 120 questions will be there.
The number of questions to attempt in part A are 15, in part B are 35, and in part C are 25, a total of 75 questions are required to attempt.
The marks for a correct answer in Part A are 2 marks, in part B are 2 marks and in part C are 4 marks.
The negative marking for an incorrect answer is 0.5 mark In part A and part B and 1 mark in part C.
