Hey Rajendra G Kute,

Engineering is a "science", dealing more with theoretical concepts & principles; technology deals more with the application of these theories for practical purposes. But, both B.E. & B.Tech courses offered by various engineering colleges/ institutes, have similar curriculum more or less. Both degrees are valued equally by prospective employers. What matters more is the reputation of the engineering college from where you obtain your B.E/ B.Tech degree.

B.Tech is offered by government institutes and B.E. is offered by private institutes.

There is absolutely no truth in this. Institutes like Netaji Subash Institute of Technology, University of Mumbai (Department of Chemical Technology) which are government institutes offer a BE degree and there are many private institutes that offer a B.Tech degree

No industrial training in BE or B.Tech

In both, BE and B.Tech, industrial training is compulsory after semester 6.

B.Tech or BE is valued more than the other

All the best!

BE stands for bachelor of engineering and btech stands for bachelor of technology ...

BE is  usually offered by University and colleges in which selection is done by state couceling

Btech is usually offered by nits and IITS and sone deemed university

Some government college also give BE degree

B.E. stands for Bachelor of Engineering while B.Tech stands for Bachelor of Technology. These degrees are typically awarded to the students upon completion of the course.

B.Tech course is more practical based than BE course. The difference (which is quite small) between the two courses which can be understood by their names itself, Engineering and Technology.

B.E. course deals with the theoretical concepts and principles whearas B.Tech deals more with the application parts, practical knowledge of these theories. But more or less both the courses have similar curriculum and both are valued equally by perspective employers.

B.E is a knowledge oriented course where more emphasis is on theoritical part whearas B.Tech is a skill oriented course where more emphasis is on practical part..

In terms of Internship, in B.E it might be essential but in B.tech it is necessary.

Also it is a misconception that only private  institutes offer  B.E. , government institutes like Netaji Subash Institute of Technology, University of Delhi also offers BE course.

In terms of Admission process , it differs from college to college ..

some college like GGSIPU accepts CET rank organised by IPU ,whearas IIt's accepts JEE mains and advance rank for admission.
