B.Tech stands for Bachelor of technology and B.E stands for Bachelor of engineering.
B.Tech focus on practical application rather than theoretical aspects.the course is focused on the practical so it is up to date. Most of the IIT's and NIT's offers B. tech.
B.E is about the basic concepts and fundamental of theoretical knowledge. It focus more on industrial visit. BITS Pilani and Anna university offers B.E.
But there is no such big difference between B.tech and B.E, both the course are monitored by All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE).
