LLB or Bachelor ofLaw/Laws is an undergraduate law course offered by variousIndian universities. The course duration is 3-year for which the minimum eligibility criterion is graduation and if we talk about clat then it is integrated course of 5-year duration for undergraduate students. Clat doesn't gove admission for 3 year llb course.
Further I'll like to tell you that The pattern of Question Paper for the UG Courses in clat is as follows:-
Maximum Marks is 200. The questions are Multiple-Choice Questions consisting of 200 questions of one mark each and Negative Marking of 0.25 Mark for each wrong answer.
Here is a list of Subject areas with weight-age:
- English including comprehension- 40 Marks
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs- 50 Marks
- Elementary Mathematics (Numerical Ability)- 20 Marks
- Legal Aptitude- 50 Marks
- Logical Reasoning- 40 Marks
The pattern of the question paper for admission to the Post-Graduate Course for CLAT is as under:
Maximum Marks is 150. The Duration of CLAT Exam is 02:00 Hours. The questions are Multiple-Choice Question consisting of 100 questions of one mark each and negative of 0.25 marks for each wrong question. There are Subjective Questions as well consisting of 50 Marks (Two Essay type questions each of 25 Marks, 800 words per essay) on the topics of law and contemporary issues.
The Syllabus is as under:-
- Constitutional Law- 40 Marks
- Other Law Subjects such as Contract, Torts, Criminal Law, International Law, IPR and Jurisprudence.- 60 Marks
