Hello friend, usually a duration of data analytics courses are 5–6 months & it’s sufficient enough to start your career in this industry but Good learning comes with practical training. Since data science is all about acquiring skills practically i would suggest to choose a course where you could learn practically by solving lots of projects & assignments. Data Analytics have a vast set of tools and technologies that are used in the industry. If you want to pursue a career in data science then I suggest you should either do BTech in CSE and then MTech in DATA SCIENCE or both in DATA SCIENCE. Data science is a new field and therefore not many colleges have this in their curriculum.

For BTech, it is a 4-year course and MTech is 2 years course. However, if you do BTECH from some top IIT/NIT then you might not have to do MTECH but if you do BTECH from some average college then you have to do MTECH too, to get a good job.
