What is GAT and CAT in nift ? Is this last process of nift exam? After this, students can adm. In college?? Plz ans. Me sir or mam..??

Hi Pragati,

Candidates seeking admissions to NIFT B.Des programme have to appear for Creative Ability Test (CAT) as well as General Ability Test (GAT). Both have different types of questions. Shortlisted candidates are required to take the Situation Test. For admission to B.F.Tech programme, candidates have to take GAT only. Seats to B.Design and B.F.Tech are allocated solely on the basis of merit.
