The eligible candidates should have completed their qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as sore subjects. However, in terms of percentage to be secured, the category-wise eligibility criteria for NEET and AIIMS varies.
NEET eligibility criteria
According to the NEET 2019 qualifying eligibility conditions, a general category aspirant has to obtain a minimum of 50% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English and should have passed in all these subjects individually.
While reserved candidate (SC/ST/OBC) must have secured an aggregate of 40% in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English, and 45% for PWD students.
AIIMS Eligibility Criteria
On the other hand, to be eligible for AIIMS MBBS 2019 exam, student from general and OBC category must obtain 60% taken together in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology. While the qualifying percentage for reserved categories i.e. SC/ST is 50% and 45% for PWBD candidates.
Any aspirant securing below than the above mentioned percentage in their 10+2 qualifying examination will not deemed to be eligible to apply for AIIMS and NEET.
