Dear Anjali, SAT is a standard test used for college admissions in the US. It is also accepted in UK, Singapore, Canada and Australia. It is a 4 section test which has Reading, Writing, Language and Mathematics without calculator. A 5th section of essay writing is optional as only few Universities might require this. The score range is 400-1600 for overall test. To take the test, first you need to register. You can either register online ir by post. Ypu need to create a profile at https://www.collegeboard.org/?navId=www-cb fill in the application form, create a student profile, select test centre and test, upload a photo, make the payment and printbthe admission ticket.
