And Supernumerary Quota (SNQ) are for the candidates who are economically weak . This quota allows the students from the economically weaker sections of to gain admission in engineering colleges across the state for reduced tuition fees.
And all the students whose income is 6 Lakhs per annum, will be qualified automatically for this quota. You can also verify this during the document verification. It will be given that you are eligible for this SNQ quota.
But all the students who are eligible will not get this quota. Only few students in every colleges will get this quota. It will be known during the seat allocation.
All colleges will have this quota even your desired colleges too will have this. And this quota will be allotted based on ranking. If you are lucky then you will get this quota. And fees for this quota is Rs.4500/- per year.
