What is the cutoff for getting admission in a govt medical college?
The NEET exam has seen a huge increase in cut off every year.
If you are of general category I would suggest you that 600+ is a safe score.
Trust me last year it was 550+ therefore, I guess this year it would be 600+
Focus for 700+ and you will reach 600+ and achieve your goals.
Try to get 300+ in Biology, 150+ in chemistry and physics.
Cheers!
I hope I was able to help you out.
All the best ^_^
The cut off for NEET varies from college to college as well as from state to state. It also depends whether you are opting for the 15% All India Quota or the 85% State Quota. Not to forget, it depends on the category you apply through.
Assuming you belong to the general category and opting a seat under the 15% All India Quota for Government Medical Colleges, the cut off for NEET 2017 was as follows:-
Opening AIR: 1
Closing AIR: 5579
This corresponds to a score range of 520-690 marks out of 720.
This year, you must focus on scoring above 540 to ensure a seat in a good government medical college.
All the very best for your Preparations!
Hello, it varies but usu between 510-520.
