CTET Cutoff 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the CTET cutoff 2019 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 once the exam gets over on 8th December 2019. According to the officials, the minimum marks to qualify CTET 2019 is 60%. The CTET 2019 cut off is 60% for Paper 1 and 2 for all category. To qualify CTET 2019 candidates will have to secure equal to or more than the required cut off score. The CTET cutoff 2019 may be relaxed for SC/ST, OBC, differently-abled persons, etc. as per their reservation policy during the selection process. As per the experts, CTET cutoff 2019 will be on the higher side as the number of test-takers is more than 14 lakh.
CTET 2019 cutoff score is used for endorsing candidates’ aptitude and eligibility for becoming teachers for class 1 to 8 in government and private schools in India. Candidates who qualify the exam by securing required CTET cutoff score become eligible to apply for teachers posts in central government schools like Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS), Tibetan School, etc. Many states and private schools have also started considering CTET as a major eligibility criterion in the teacher recruitment process.
