Hello Hrithik ,

As per your mentioned query , i will mention some differences here.

  • B.tech
  • it focuses on core subjects of branches from the very first year.
  • it is skill oriented.
  • the duration of this course is 4 years with 8 semesters.
  • the eligibility criteria for doing the btech is 10+2 with both physics and chemistry among the science subjects with atleast 50% marks.
  • B.E
  • this course is based on the theory.
  • In this course, candidate also have to study subjects of other branches also.
  • This makes people think that it have more scope because students have knowledge about other branches also.
  • It is skill oriented course.

Hello,

There is not much difference in Bachelor of Engineering ,BE or Bachelor of Technology, BTech.

But you can somewhat distinguish between the two courses by going through following points -

• B.Tech is a skill oriented course whereas you can consider B.E for knowledge based program.

• B.Tech is more about practical applications and B.E focuses on theory and strong fundamentals.

Both B.E. & B.Tech courses offered by various engineering colleges/ institutes, have similar curriculum more or less.

Both degrees are valued equally by prospective employers.

I hope you find the answer helpful.

Thank you.

Hello there

There is a mind and difference between these two. Before discussing the differences I want to tell you that what engineering is. If I tell you in one line then it is a science which deals mostly with the theoretical concepts and the principle underlying given engineering discipline. Not coming to the technology then it is concerned with how the theories and principles are put on any domain and how they are applied to work.

B achelor of engineering and Bachelor of Technology both are graduate level program wish you do after completing your class 12th. B tech are usually application and skill based courses and their prime focus is to make the student understand the Technology behind the working of any gadget and how you can modify those gadgets according to the human satisfactory needs. Whereas BE course is to make the student understand the theoretical knowledge which is needed to discover or to innovate the technology and some new technical gadgets.

I hope it helps you!

Thank you!
