Information science and engineering & data science and engineering are two somewhat relatable fields of engineering. But there is a proper difference between the two. Information science and engineering deals with design , engineering and implementation of information system via the study of human and computer interaction. On the other hand , data science and engineering deals with the discovery of proper  meaningful patterns and rules from the data.
