What is the difference between IT Branch and Information Science Branch...??? In RV, Ramaih etc there is Information Science Branch..!!

IT is primarily concerned with computer software and hardware and telecommunications.It needs to be engineered into information systems.
IS ie information science is usually a social science discipline concerned with how we use and how we manage information including the technology behind it.It include topics from IT and computer science,business science,management science,philosophy and library science.
